CAROLINE ALEXANDER

Attorney

Caroline Alexander is tenacious in her pursuit of the best possible result for her clients. She started her legal career as a public defender in Mendocino County. This experience gave her the opportunity to work on many cases of varying seriousness from the smallest misdemeanors to serious felonies.  She takes every case seriously.

From misdemeanor probation to state prison sentences, she understands that a criminal case is the most stressful and often the most important part of her clients’ lives, no matter what the possible consequences are. She works meticulously to stay current on the issues most important to criminal defendants like toxicology, and search and seizure.

For her undergraduate degree, Caroline attended the University of Connecticut in her home state and earned a degree in Sociology. She graduated from college and moved to San Francisco in 2016.  Then, she earned her law degree at Golden Gate University, where she graduated at the top 5% of her class. She worked at the practical legal clinic while in law school, working to defend vulnerable populations from environmental abuse and pollution by big business and the government.

She also participated in the Baxter Fellowship while volunteering at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office.  She is proud of the awards she received in law school, for being the top of her class in both Brief Writing and Motion Advocacy as well as Professional Responsibility.  She continues to use these skills by using motion writing to get the best possible outcome for our clients.

Caroline prides herself on being available to our clients and their families, explaining things in a clear way instead of using all that legalese, and getting creative when it seems like all hope is lost. She will leave no stone unturned when it comes to providing the best legal service for our clients.

In her free time, she enjoys camping and hiking with her dog, Ringo.
